How to begin using the Spill Slack app.

Spill should already be on your Slack sidebar

Look on the bottom left of your Slack sidebar, in the 'Apps' section below DMs.

If it isn't there, click the '+' next to Apps and add Spill

Type 'Spill' into the list of apps and click to add it to your Slack Apps sidebar.

Then you just need to answer three questions to begin

Below are the four main things you can do on Spill, explained.

1. Book a one-off video session to talk about anything on your mind

Anyone can book a 50min session with a Spill therapist to talk about whatever's on your mind. You don't need to be struggling with a mental health issue to book a session. And if you want another session, you can just come back and book another (you'll have the option to choose the same therapist or not).

💡 There isn't a limit on how many sessions you can have, but Spill one-off sessions are designed to be used as and when you need them, rather than a long commitment.

2. Book a course of video therapy sessions if you're feeling anxious or low

If you're going through a rough patch — perhaps you're struggling with anxiety or low mood, or maybe something big has happened in your life recently — then a course of 50min therapy sessions on Spill is what we'd suggest. If you need further support after your sessions are over, you can request to have another course.

💡 You can spread your sessions out however makes most sense for you: weekly or fortnightly.
