We're a casual bunch here at Automata and encourage everyone to wear whatever they feel comfortable in to the office, however we do ask that you use your common sense for what is and isn't appropriate work attire. We're cool with flip flops, t-shirts and bow ties, but do save your bikini tops for the beach and please make sure that any logo'd clothing isn't offensive ✌️

You should also consider that you’re representing Automata when on customer sites or at events. If you’re in the office for the day and you want to wear your Crocs - you do you - but if you’re heading to a client site they’re not ideal.

If you're working at The Yard or with any machinery, we have to put our Health & Safety hats on and be a little bit stricter on what you can and can't wear. Details below:

The Yard Dress Code

🥾 No open toe shoes - something sturdy is usually best

🦺 No super baggy clothing that could get tangled in machinery

🥽 PPE must be worn if appropriate to the task that you're completing; ie. eye protection when using chemicals. (The Risk Assessment for any piece of equipment/tool/chemical will state what the appropriate level of PPE for that item is)
