Before booking any travel for business purposes, you should ensure that you have read and understood the Automata Staff Travel Policy


Travel Policy

This company travel policy is applicable to all employees under contract at Automata, this includes paid interns, contractors, and seasonal, part-time, and full-time employees.

Business Travel is defined as a journey or stay an employee must complete in order to fulfil a requirement to perform their role for the business. This does not include;

Unless otherwise contractually agreed, your usual place of work is Automata HQ or The Yard

Remote Working Agreement

****If you have been hired under a Remote Working Agreement, this means that it has been agreed that you can meet the expectations of your job role whilst working remotely and therefore are not required to come into the office to provide your services. Your usual place of work is your home address.

We understand that some remote workers may wish to come into the office from time to time, however under HMRC regulations and the company's geographical compensation philosophy, any travel expenses incurred for unrequired travel to and from our offices cannot be booked using TravelPerk or expensed.
